About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. As a Home Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication management, including administration and documentation.
  • Perform basic first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Conduct vital sign checks and document patient information.
  • Assist with range of motion exercises and other therapeutic activities as assigned by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current, unrestricted certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
