About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. As a key member of our home health care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Assist with Medical Care: Perform basic first aid, take vital signs, and assist with catheter and bowel care, as well as range of motion exercises and ambulation.
  • Document Patient Care: Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration.
  • Communicate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, and current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
