About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Homecare Specialist. As a Homecare Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as catheter care and bowel care, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Nursing Supervisor.
  • Assist with range of motion exercises and other therapeutic activities as assigned by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current, unrestricted certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, move, and reposition patients as needed.
