Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Specialist to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Escort Patients: Provide safe and supportive care to patients in psychiatric clinics and programs.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient findings and care provided, utilizing infection control and safety techniques.
  • Assess and Intervene: Utilize therapeutic assessment and interview skills to assess patient conditions and intervene as needed.
  • Manage Crisis Situations: Exercise sound judgment and crisis intervention skills to manage potentially harmful situations, following clinic-specific policies.
  • Coordinate Care: Screen patients to determine presenting problems and priority of appointment, performing basic assessments and assisting with treatment strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician Program or completion of equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: One year (1) of experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduation.
