Supply Chain Operations Manager

The Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support production and customer needs, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee all supply chain activities, including procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics.
- Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a plastics manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management principles.
- Injection molding experience.
- Experience with metal machining, fabrication, and forming.
This role will be based in an office setting with occasional travel to manufacturing floor environments and controlled temperature environments.
TravelUp to 50% to start, 25% after 6 months. Occasional international travel required.
