MHS General Maintenance Technician IV Position

The Moline School District NO. 40 is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician IV to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of Moline High School facilities and grounds. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the school premises.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing facilities and equipment
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
* Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the school premises
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Requirements:
* High School Diploma
* Illinois Class D driver's license
* Secure licensing and health clearance for pesticide abatement
* Basic operational and maintenance knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and grounds care issues
Working Conditions:
* The Employee must be physically fit and remain physically fit, as the job entails a great deal of physical effort
