Resident Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Camden, Wall, and/or Newark offices. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in heavy highway projects, including paving, bridge, and/or drainage, and be able to work on a northern New Jersey Agency project immediately.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Resident Engineer on New Jersey Agency projects and perform on-site inspection for heavy highway projects.
- Assist in the review of Cost Estimates and project submittals.
- Oversight of additional inspection staff in the field
- Coordinate with Project Managers
- Travel to project sites when required.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET III/IV Certification required.
- Experience performing construction inspection on prior New Jersey Agency projects.
- Minimum of eight (8) years' experience as a Resident Engineer.
- Advanced ability to read and understand Contract Documents.
- Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check.
- Ability to perform Night work, if required.
