Job Title: RN Supervisor - Overnight Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Williamsville Suburban Nursing Home. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical activities of our health care personnel, including LPNs and CNAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete admissions assessments and reassessments on all patients.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing staff, housekeeping, and security.
  • Work closely with medical support staff to ensure resident needs are met.
  • Maintain medical supplies and equipment.
  • Provide education as indicated after assessing the learning needs of the patient, staff members.
  • Assess the patient's physical and psycho-social condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care.
  • Utilize manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and effect productivity.
  • Demonstrate a current working knowledge of equipment, instrumentation, and medications.
  • Act as a liaison in coordinating patient care activities with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals.
  • Participate in preparation and facilitation of regulatory agency site visits.
  • Maintain adequate infection control standards.
  • Reviews and reports all medical, accident/incidents related to patient care.
  • Participate in weekly and on an "as needed basis" case conferencing sessions with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ensure that personnel adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Document changes in resident's conditions.
  • Participate in care planning meetings.
  • Mentoring and supervision of LPN's and CNA's.
Requirements:
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • 3 Years RN experience preferred.
  • Current BLS Certificate.
