Job Title: Test Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineering Manager to lead our qualification testing programs for airplane water and waste vacuum systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead qualification testing programs, including endurance cycles, vibration, thermal cycling, proof of pressure, and freeze testing.
  • Maintain project schedules, matrices, budgets, and dashboards.
  • Write, review, and approve test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Design, develop, and document test fixtures as necessary to support test plans.
  • Develop and write Test Lab procedures.
  • Provide leadership and managerial oversight to a team of Test Engineers and Technicians.
  • Direct and support Test Engineers in conducting tests effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop talent within the team to ensure proficiency in performing various development and qualification tests.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety policies and aerospace industry standards throughout all testing activities.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
  • Or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior engineering experience with qualification testing (water and vacuum systems preferred).
  • Prior aerospace industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with LabVIEW.
  • Experience in designing and fabricating test fixtures.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
  • Familiar with environmental qualification testing to the requirements of RTCA/DO-160.
