At MMA Design, we're passionate about exploring space and delivering innovative deployable mechanical systems and antenna payload solutions. As an Electrical Hardware Developer, you'll work closely with our team to design, develop, and test high-reliability embedded systems for space applications.

We're seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with electronics design for space applications. Your expertise will be invaluable in leading the design and development of high-reliability embedded systems, including requirements gathering, schematic design, PCB layout, firmware development, and comprehensive system testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-reliability embedded systems for space applications
  • Leading the development of electronic motor control systems to support electromechanical control needs for deployable space systems
  • Collaborating with purchasing and contract manufacturers to ensure hardware is built and assembled
  • Analyzing and debugging non-functional units using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes

You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including creating prototypes for R&D projects and future products, and developing Python test scripts to automate hardware testing throughout the build process.

We offer a competitive salary range of $73,000-$150,000 per year, based on location and experience, plus a range of benefits, including 100% company-paid health and vision benefits, life insurance, profit-sharing, and access to other employee-paid coverages.
