We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OB/GYN physician to join our team at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health. As a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our women's health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and administrative services to ensure timely care of patients.
- Abide by the Dartmouth Health Bylaws for the Professional Staff and Code of Conduct.
- Review patient records and medical history to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Determine and order screening and diagnostic tests and studies as necessary.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and medical devices in accordance with specialty scope of practice and applicable rules and regulations.
- Initiate referrals to other providers as needed.
- Provide consultation, education, and counseling regarding the management of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide patient-centered care and ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as directed.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and quality and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements- Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
- Postgraduate training in residency program
- Required licensure/certifications: Vermont Medical License, Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years), Active hospital staff membership
