Clean Harbors Field Service Foreman Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Field Service Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of Field Technicians and ensuring the successful execution of field service and emergency response projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train Field Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within budget and on time, while maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards.
  • Enforce and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and H&S regulations, as well as Clean Harbors' own safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects, including coordinating manpower, equipment, and resources.
  • Perform physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects, and operate light and heavy equipment, as well as various hand tools and powered industrial tools.
  • Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection.
  • Work in various temperatures, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, and in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters, and climb ladders, scaffolding, and into and out of trucks, tanks, and other containers.
  • Attend all compliance and safety update meetings, and complete associated paperwork, such as worksheets, vehicle inspections, equipment inspections, and permits.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Previous experience in a physically intensive role and a supervisory, crew lead, or leadership role.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time, overnight, and be on-call for emergency response.
  • Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements, and successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
  • Previous heavy equipment experience and environmental and/or industrial experience preferred.
