Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a skilled Warehouse Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory levels with a 99% target compliance rate.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehousing and logistics, with a focus on inventory control and a strong understanding of SAP cycle counting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety as the top priority for all duties and tasks
- Participate in company safety programs and assist with incident investigations
- Utilize SAP transactions with 100% compliance throughout the warehouse and production movement process
- Communicate effectively with the Logistics Supervisor regarding approvals and inventory deviations
- Continually review count findings, formulate improvements, and submit to the Logistics Supervisor for approval
- Identify and report any defects immediately to the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Team Lead
- Read, understand, and follow all policies within the training program and employee handbook
- Report any safety violations to supervisor or team lead immediately
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Maintain compliance of all monthly and annual training
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 or more years in a warehousing/logistics role in inventory control
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Associate degree or higher post-secondary education
- Minimum of 2 years in a warehousing/logistics role with focus of inventory control
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP cycle counting process
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Communicate well through written and verbal methods
- Interpersonal skills that promote collaboration within multiple workstreams
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Duties are performed in a warehouse environment using industrial forklifts or other material movement equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Some overtime may be required depending on division's needs
