We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our Senior Behavioral Health Unit at Mercy Hospital Ardmore. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to senior patients with diagnosed psychiatric disorders, including dementia, depression, schizophrenia, and anxiety disorders.

About the Unit

Our 13-bed locked unit is a well unit, meaning that patients must be medically stable to remain on the unit. Our team works collaboratively to provide individualized care, including medication management, group therapy, and counseling. We prioritize patient-centered care and strive to create a positive and supportive environment for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and assistance with ADLs
  • Participate in group therapy and individual counseling sessions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare providers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the hiring state
  • Graduation from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
