Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Veteran Disability Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you'll be responsible for adjusting complex bodily injury claims and UIM claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Adjust complex bodily injury claims with significant demonstrable injuries, including traumatic brain injury, disfigurement, and fatality
- Investigate loss details, determine legal liability, and evaluate claims to ensure fair and timely resolution
- Clearly document thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions
- Prioritize and manage assigned claims workload to keep members informed and provide timely claims status updates
- Partner with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate timely claims resolution
- At least 4 years of experience handling UM/UIM injury claims
- College Degree (Bachelor's or higher)
- Expert knowledge and understanding of the auto claims contract, case law, and state laws and regulations
