Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Veteran Disability Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you'll be responsible for adjusting complex bodily injury claims and UIM claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust complex bodily injury claims with significant demonstrable injuries, including traumatic brain injury, disfigurement, and fatality
  • Investigate loss details, determine legal liability, and evaluate claims to ensure fair and timely resolution
  • Clearly document thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions
  • Prioritize and manage assigned claims workload to keep members informed and provide timely claims status updates
  • Partner with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate timely claims resolution
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience handling UM/UIM injury claims
  • College Degree (Bachelor's or higher)
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of the auto claims contract, case law, and state laws and regulations
