Our client operates in the high-tech sector, specializing in the integration of software and hardware systems, innovative research and development, and manufacturing solutions. They deliver top-tier systems, services, and products to the Department of Defense, governmental entities, and commercial clients.

We are currently seeking an Engineering Project Supervisor & Release Manager to collaborate with a diverse engineering team, the program management office, as well as the client’s support center and field representatives to ensure the efficient and cost-effective execution of all projects and tasks.

Position: Engineering Project Supervisor & Release Manager

Contract Duration: 12 months or longer

Compensation: $57.54/hour

Note: Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be US Citizens. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire but must be obtainable within a reasonable timeframe as determined by program requirements.

As a Project Supervisor and Release Manager on the Rescue 21 program, you will engage closely with a diverse engineering team, the program management office, as well as our support center and field representatives to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of all projects and tasks. Your primary responsibilities will encompass proposing, planning, executing, and delivering project outcomes. This includes defining objectives, creating schedules, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to ensure projects remain within scope, budget, and timeline. Additionally, you will monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Skill in conveying project topics to a diverse audience
  • Competence in reporting relevant information clearly
  • Understanding of project leadership principles, including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls for complex programs
  • Ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill requirements

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
