Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vertex AI Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and implement machine learning models utilizing the Vertex AI platform.
  • Seamlessly integrate Vertex AI with other Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
  • Leverage AutoML capabilities to generate high-quality models with reduced manual intervention.
  • Create custom training pipelines for advanced machine learning tasks using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Establish and manage Vertex AI Pipelines to orchestrate comprehensive machine learning workflows.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance model performance post-deployment to ensure sustained accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective AI solutions.
  • Conduct hyperparameter tuning to optimize model performance.
  • Utilize Vertex AI Feature Store for effective feature management and reuse.
  • Execute online and batch predictions using Vertex AI prediction services.
  • Adhere to MLOps best practices for model versioning, deployment, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Vertex AI.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python or a comparable language.
  • Familiarity with data processing tools like Apache Beam, Dataflow, or similar technologies.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Experience with AutoML tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as BigQuery, Spark, and Hadoop.
