Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare jobs for production by reviewing job specifications and ensuring all equipment is set up correctly.
  • Operate bindery machinery efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Package and label finished products accurately for shipping, ensuring customer samples are prepared and presented to the highest quality.
  • Conduct post-production tasks, including organizing samples and notifying supervisors of any discrepancies.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and cleanliness.
  • Utilize computer systems to program cutting specifications and manage job details effectively.
  • Monitor production quality, verifying stock tickets and ensuring compliance with job requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience operating cutting, stitching, or folder equipment is preferred.
  • General understanding of bindery machinery and mechanical principles.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good vision, with or without correction.
