Job Description

Vomela Commercial, a division of Vomela, is seeking an experienced Bindery Technician to join their team in Springfield, VA. As a Bindery Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting and folding equipment, packaging, labeling, and delivering work to the delivery area. You will interact with sales staff, customer service representatives, and other bindery personnel to ensure seamless production and delivery of commercial print collateral.

Vomela Commercial is a leading provider of commercial print solutions, with over 20 locations and 1,100 employees across the nation. We utilize the latest print technology to manage, produce, and distribute commercial print collateral, retail in-store signage, store décor, out-of-home advertising, transportation, and fleet graphics.

As a Bindery Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality products to our clients. You will be responsible for performing make-ready tasks, running jobs on folding equipment, and performing post-run duties, including packaging and labeling jobs for shipping.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in operation of cutting and/or folder equipment
  • General knowledge of folding machinery
  • Ability to understand general mechanical principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Good natural or corrected eyesight
