Job Summary
As a primary healthcare provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within the guidelines of established protocols. You will follow established nursing standards, procedures, and practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat various health conditions, recommending or prescribing treatments as needed.
- Perform charting, summaries, and other paperwork to document care and facilitate billing.
- Participate in educational programs to enhance your knowledge of capitated medicine and its impact on physician practice patterns.
- Contribute to the development of quality assurance programs, utilization management programs, and patient education services.
- Assist in the establishment of operational and capital budgets, as well as participate in operational assessments to identify revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain courteous working relationships with colleagues, physicians, patients, and the general public.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
This is a non-management role that reports to a supervisor, manager, or director.
Requirements
A Master's Degree in Nursing, with a Nurse Practitioner degree emphasis or program certificate equivalent, is required. Additionally, you must hold a South Carolina Official Recognition Nurse Practitioner - NLNP certification, a South Carolina Nursing License with prescriptive authority, and a South Carolina Controlled Substance license, as well as a Federal DEA license.
Work Environment
This role is a day shift position within the United States of America, and you will be based at BEH Easley Family Med, located at 2387 BE FM-Easley, within the Department of BE FM-Easley-Practice Operations.
