SalaryWe offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
Job DescriptionAs an Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, including M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional, and/or color flow Doppler imaging. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, while maintaining accurate and timely results. Your expertise will help us to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care we provide.
- Perform echocardiograms using independent judgement, following IAC-approved scanning protocols;
- Review images and paperwork to ensure quality exams are complete, thorough, and prepared for review by reading physicians;
- Rotate to multiple lab locations as scheduled and required by the IAC;
- Participate in daily workflow by observing sonographer worklists to ensure timely patient care;
- Schedule exams through the transport system if applicable;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree from a formal Radiology or Sonography program;
- A minimum of one (1) year of echo sonography experience performing non-invasive cardiac ultrasound studies;
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing and software packages such as EMR and Structured Reporting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
