Health Educator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Educator to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs to promote chronic disease prevention and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health education programs for patients with chronic kidney disease.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify health education needs and develop targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to integrate health education into clinical practice.
- Develop and maintain educational materials, including brochures, videos, and online resources.
- Provide training and support to healthcare providers and staff on health education best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Education or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in health education or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of chronic disease prevention and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Health Education or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including African Americans/Blacks.
- Knowledge of health education theories and models.
