Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Educator to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating health education programs, as well as researching and developing health education materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health education courses, including outreach programs and support groups.
  • Research and develop health education materials, including written content and visual aids.
  • Conduct health education programs, including presentations and workshops.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Education or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in health education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in health science, biology, or public health.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including African American/Black patients.
  • Knowledge of chronic kidney disease and its treatment options.
