- Problem Identification: Recognize accounts that require additional attention and follow-up.
- Patient Assistance: Provide information to insurance carriers or patients regarding their accounts and assist patients with any billing inquiries.
- Documentation Maintenance: Keep comprehensive files on all documentation, including charge slips and Explanations of Benefits.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute necessary reports as required.
- Collections Referral: Refer accounts to collections in accordance with company policy.
