Job Summary

Orthopaedic and Spine Center of the Rockies is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch orthopaedic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care, including organizing patient flow, chart management, and assisting with patient exams and procedures.
  • Collect patient history, schedule follow-up procedures and surgeries, and answer patient care questions.
  • Ensure patient exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and organized after each visit.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure quality patient care and experience.
  • Maintain supplies in exam rooms and ensure clinics have everything needed to run efficiently.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal training in a medical assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare field and medical specialty.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Competencies in communication, customer service, teamwork, ethics, and confidentiality.
Work Environment

The work environment is a typical medical office setting with significant distractions, including staff, patients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others.

The employee must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in this environment.
