Job Title: Clinical Medical Assistant - Spine Surgeon Support

Orthopaedic Associates (Fort Walton Beach) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to support our Spine Surgeon team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examination and treatment, assisting with preop and postop instruction and care, and maintaining exam and treatment rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs.
  • Assist with preop and postop instruction and care.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patients, including preparation and maintenance of supplies for treatments, DME brace dispensing, medication reconciliation, and chart corrections.
  • Active EMT, ATC, RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials highly preferred. Willing to train the right candidate if not certified with on-the-job training.
