Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PreOp/PACU department. As a key member of our orthopedic care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including administration of medications and preparation of patients for surgery.
  • Ensure pre-operative care requirements are met through thorough use of the nursing process.
  • Perform preoperative teachings and educate patients to enable and empower them to become partners in their recovery.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of surgery center procedures and protocols.
  • Valid Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment

The work environment is a typical medical office setting with occasional distractions. The employee must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in an environment with significant distractions.
