About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in credit risk analysis, infrastructure finance, and project finance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of market fundamentals within infrastructure and power sectors, including transportation, industrial, telecom, water, social, storage, transmission, oil & gas, and conventional and renewable energy generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze credit risks associated with transactions in the infrastructure and power sector, including power & energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure.
  • Lead and manage multiple deals in various stages, and manage a portfolio of credits across infrastructure and power debt transactions and hedging instruments.
  • Work closely with the front office deal team, Market Risk, Legal, Finance, and other internal groups to identify risks affecting the business for project finance credits.
  • Perform financial analysis for borrowers, analyzing an array of financial metrics to assess the value of a project, determine debt capacity, and understand financial risks associated with the project.
  • Present credit view and recommendation of transactions to CRO, CFO, CCO, and other key senior professionals.
  • Establish and manage credit risk limits in accordance with the risk tolerance for corporate derivative transactions.
  • Negotiate ISDA terms, working closely with legal counsels.
  • Apply fundamental credit analysis and various analytical tools to develop risk rating recommendations.
  • Manage a portfolio of counterparties, ensuring timely completion of semi-annual credit reviews and global/regional portfolio reviews.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant transaction experience, with a strong understanding of market fundamentals within infrastructure and power sectors.
  • Experience in both developed market and emerging market transactions/structures preferred.
  • Knowledge of a range of debt/hedging products.
  • Ability to advise and/or assist teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, prioritizing and completing tasks according to project needs.
  • Effective business writing and verbal skills, including negotiation and consensus-building to achieve results.
  • Business and project management acumen, executive presence, and professionalism.
