Job Details:
General Notes: This role will primarily involve in-person engagement on campus.
Purpose: The Little Longhorn Lab is dedicated to enhancing parent-mediated interventions for young children experiencing language delays and/or autism. The laboratory operations supervisor will facilitate daily functions to guarantee efficient data collection, scoring, coding, and data entry.

Our community outreach and the translation of materials and resources are vital for our ability to engage, retain, and connect with families.

This position will also involve coding observational assessments for pertinent behaviors. The supervisor will collaborate closely with the research team to ensure that studies meet their goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage laboratory procedures and processes through task management tools.

2. Cultivate and maintain community partnerships and dissemination through material development and communication strategies.


3. Support daily laboratory activities, including logistics and participant engagement.

4. Develop, manage, and update laboratory databases and systems, ensuring accurate data entry.

5. Code observational videos of parent-child interactions and input related data.

6. Supervise laboratory volunteers, staff onboarding, and distribution of responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Proven experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities.

This role requires a dynamic and highly motivated individual with a keen attention to detail who can also maintain a broader perspective to enhance existing systems.

We seek a collaborative team member who values open communication and is eager to take initiative and learn diverse responsibilities.

The individual must be comfortable managing a multidisciplinary team and communicating effectively with individuals from various backgrounds, including researchers, staff, and diverse child and parent participants.

Flexibility, quick thinking, and the ability to lead by example are essential. The capacity to provide and receive constructive feedback is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or a related field. Experience in managing research projects.

Experience in leading a multidisciplinary team and effectively communicating with diverse individuals, including researchers, staff, and varied child and parent participants.


Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
Working Conditions: Typical office environment.

Work Shift: Flexibility in hours is required, including occasional evening and weekend hours, and may involve off-site activities.
