Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytical Chemistry Supervisor to join our team at Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of analytical chemistry services and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of laboratory personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage the procurement of clinical laboratory supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and in good working order.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including test results, quality control data, and personnel training.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory personnel and management to identify and implement process improvements and optimize laboratory operations.
  • Ensure that all laboratory personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Develop and implement continuing education programs for laboratory personnel to ensure that they remain up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with regulatory requirements and company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 4 years of experience in toxicology.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist is preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a laboratory setting, with occasional exposure to biological and chemical hazards. All necessary safety equipment and personal protective equipment will be provided.
