Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Pipe Installation Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in plumbing systems and possess the following qualifications:

  • Maintain detailed records of work tasks.
  • Transport and handle materials to job sites efficiently.
  • Install plumbing fixtures and components both above and below ground.
  • Assist in the setup of piping and fittings for various materials including copper, cast iron, and PVC/CPVC, as well as for drainage, sewage, and gas lines.
  • Guide assistants involved in pipe cutting, pre-assembly, or the installation of plumbing systems or components.
  • Test pipes or plumbing fixtures by filling them with water or air and monitor pressure gauges to identify and locate leaks.
  • Utilize hand tools and cutters to accurately cut pipes to specified lengths and employ electric and manual threaders for threading pipes.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints effectively.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs.
  • Awareness of current industry regulations.
  • Capability to remain stationary for extended periods and occasionally lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Personal tools necessary for the trade and the ability to transport them to job sites.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
