Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Safe Quality (SQF) program to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
  2. Guide the facility through the SQF certification process and conduct food safety training for all employees.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive food safety plans and HACCP systems to prevent contamination and ensure product safety.
  4. Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in food safety to implement updates as necessary.
Requirements
  1. SQF, HACCP, PCQI, and FSMA certifications preferred.
  2. In-depth knowledge of SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA, and other food safety standards.
  3. Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field, or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in food safety and quality management.
