Job Summary

The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that all dishes and utensils are clean and sanitized for both the dining area and kitchen stations. This position involves operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment, managing supplies, and responsibly disposing of waste materials.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company policies as detailed in the Employee Handbook and the General Policies and Procedures section of the Dishwasher Training Manual.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record by arriving for scheduled shifts 10 minutes early, minimizing shift changes, and adhering to company time-off and illness protocols.
  • Comply with all sanitation and safety standards established by the company, achieving a score of 90% or higher on sanitation and safety audits.
  • Meet uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Dishwasher Training Manual.
  • Uphold our guest service philosophy by ensuring that all dishes and utensils leaving the station are impeccably clean at all times.
  • Perform side-work accurately as specified in the Side-work Duties section of the Dishwasher Training Manual.
  • Follow all end-of-shift checkout procedures meticulously as outlined in the End of Shift/Checkout Procedures section of the Dishwasher Training Manual.
  • Execute all dishwashing procedures in accordance with company standards consistently.
  • Maintain a steady workflow to guarantee that clean dishes are available at all times.
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities when needed.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand and maintain mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Must successfully complete food safety training.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
