Job Summary

The Sanitation Specialist is tasked with ensuring that all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for use in the dining area and kitchen. This role also involves operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment and managing waste disposal effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the General Policies and Procedures section of the Sanitation Specialist Training Manual.
  • Maintain a positive attendance record by arriving for scheduled shifts 10 minutes early, managing shift changes responsibly, and following company protocols for time off and illness.
  • Comply with all sanitation and safety standards established by the company, achieving a score of 90% or higher on all audits.
  • Meet uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the Employee Handbook and Sanitation Specialist Training Manual.
  • Uphold our guest service philosophy by ensuring that all dishes and utensils leaving the station are immaculate at all times.
  • Complete side-work accurately as detailed in the Side-work Duties section of the Sanitation Specialist Training Manual.
  • Follow all end-of-shift checkout procedures meticulously as outlined in the End of Shift/Checkout Procedures section of the Sanitation Specialist Training Manual.
  • Adhere to all dishwashing procedures according to company standards consistently.
  • Maintain a steady workflow to guarantee that clean dishes are available at all times.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues with their duties and side-work as needed.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand and maintain mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, stoop, and bend as required.
  • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and commitment to guest and management satisfaction.
  • Must pass food safety training.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
