Job Description

As a Medical Assessment Specialist for Veterans, you will perform comprehensive assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Your responsibilities include reviewing medical health records through our secure Web Portal, conducting thorough assessments, and completing Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current license as a Physiatrist and be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology. Proficiency in finding key data points within electronic medical records, typing skills, and excellent time management are also essential.

Benefits

This part-time telehealth position offers 2 days a week with additional days traveling within MT. You will review and assess 4 veterans per day on average, with completed DBQs submitted within 24 hours after an exam.
