Job Overview

HCH Enterprises, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager – Senior Information Technology to join our team. This is a full-time position with HCH Enterprises, LLC and a contract position with the state of Rhode Island.

The Project Manager – Senior Information Technology will be responsible for leading multiple workstreams with vendors and state stakeholders, ensuring timely and coordinated delivery of deliverables and various portions of the project. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining master documentation of overall system functionality.
  2. Managing multiple vendors and state stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  3. Documenting application support procedures for internal and external users.
  4. Monitoring the documentation and quality of business processes and workflows developed.
  5. Ensuring comprehensive documentation is developed and maintained by the vendor.
  6. Reviewing deliverables provided by vendors to ensure quality prior to approvals.
  7. Establishing and maintaining a RAID log and RACI matrix.
  8. Creating and updating weekly status reports.
  9. Documenting and reporting on changes in scope of the project and ensuring change control process.
  10. Communicating delays and obstacles that may compromise or delay the project.
  11. Providing periodic updates to state project management and vendor management teams on vendor performance and deliverables.
  12. Managing budget and financial process of the program.
  13. Scheduling and facilitating project meetings and distributing meeting minutes.
  14. Overseeing configuration of system per business specifications.
  15. Overseeing testing and validation of the system to ensure successful completion of configuration, regression, performance testing, and planning of User Acceptance Testing.
  16. Ensuring vendor resolution of defects through the testing phase.
  17. Working with Change Management and Agency Readiness teams to ensure training, delivery, and implementation of project initiatives.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience with management or IT consulting firm; or similar industry.
  2. Demonstrated experience on working on large implementation projects with multiple vendors.
  3. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  4. Demonstrated leadership managing people.
  5. Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management in multiple agencies.
  6. Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and time management skills (ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines).
  7. Experience planning and executing migrations and decommissioning of legacy systems (mainframe, IBM/AIX, Oracle, ERP, etc.) to new platforms.
  8. Experience in Agile project and SDLC management.
  9. Recent experience managing Salesforce projects.
  10. Recent experience in project management tools (JIRA and Confluence).
  11. Recent experience using Microsoft collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, O365) preferred.
  12. Working experience using ServiceNow.
  13. Prior state or government experience a plus.
  14. Project Management certification a plus.
  15. Preference for candidates to follow the current model of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote work.

Annual compensation range is $122k-$134k.
