About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remittance Processing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Remittance Processing team, you will be responsible for processing customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner to customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare customer payments for processing
  • Perform research and adjustment activities to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Balance credits and debits within transactions
  • Perform MICR line repair and other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to lift or move up to 20 pounds
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, and problem-solving techniques required to verify and distribute computer output
  • Knowledge of client specifications for remittance processing
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of Remittance is a plus
  • Banking experience is a plus
  • Data Entry experience is a plus
  • Payment processing experience (especially check handling) is a plus
