Position Overview:

Are you the Lead Residential Care Coordinator we seek? In this role, you will have the opportunity to express your dedication to supporting others by guiding a vibrant team and fostering a positive and energetic environment while engaging with our clients.

About Us:
Justice Resource Institute operates a Group Home treatment facility tailored for latency-aged individuals, focusing on trauma-informed care. We provide comprehensive 24-hour support, which includes a full clinical team, nursing professionals, and direct care staff.

Work Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, totaling 40 hours - Sundays from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 PM to 10 PM, and Wednesdays from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Compensation: $25/hour

Given the nature of our services and the youth who rely on us, there may be instances where overtime is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the supervision system within our Residential Department, ensuring all staff receive timely and appropriate guidance to foster professional growth.
  • Plan and manage shifts to maintain a safe environment, ensuring adherence to all policies while participating in on-call rotations.
  • Monitor scheduling processes to guarantee compliance with staffing ratios at all times.
  • Support initiatives aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Facilitate residential meetings and training sessions to bolster staff and programming efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Experience in a residential program or mental health facility is required.
  • Supervisory experience in a mental health setting is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license is required, as client transportation is part of the role.
  • Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • At JRI, you will learn to implement physical interventions and verbal de-escalation techniques to create the safest therapeutic environment for our clients.
  • Background checks and driving record assessments will be conducted.
