Job Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our residential program, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct nursing care to individuals with disabilities, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  2. Collaborate with the residential manager, registered nurse, and Director of Health Care to ensure comprehensive care planning and coordination.
  3. Act as a liaison with community health care providers, monitoring medical records and advocating for our clients' needs.
  4. Document health care services accurately and in accordance with state regulations, nursing standards, and Massachusetts LPN license requirements.
  5. Participate in in-service education and training to maintain knowledge of best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited and approved licensed practical nurse program.
  • Current Massachusetts Nursing license.
  • Two years of general nursing experience and/or service to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community health setting preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to foster positive relationships and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
