Accounting Supervisor Opportunity at HHHunt

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Controller in implementing and maintaining accounting systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with company, GAAP, and tax guidelines.
  • Review and analyze business unit financials, ensuring accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes, analyzing options for enhanced operations and making recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, identifying variances and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Oversee general ledger accounts, including journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
  • Troubleshoot accounting issues and provide guidance to property managers on corrective action.
  • Assist with year-end audits and HUD filings, preparing schedules and documentation.
  • Maintain fixed assets depreciation software and assist with the annual budget preparation.
Requirements:
  • Four-year degree in Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience.
  • 2 years of experience supervising and developing team members.
  • Ability to work independently and develop collaborative relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The annual base salary for this position starts at $72,675 and may increase depending on skills and experience.
