About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our HQ Sales Finance team at Danone North America. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's growth and profitability goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an internal expert in Rolling Forecast (RF) and monthly close processes, providing guidance and setting achievable deadlines to Divisional Sales Finance teams.
  • Manage relationships and communications with BU finance teams, providing Gross to Net P&L analysis including R&Os.
  • Own Top line balance sheet; Monthly reviews with Trade Accounting.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and Trade Accounting. Prepare all manual journal entries.
  • Manage Vol/Mix/Price analysis post-GPS and monthly close. Variance analysis vs. prior rolling forecast and prior year.
  • Lead monitoring of total trade expenditure with sales divisions to ensure promotion planning accuracy.
  • Manage relationships with Demand Planning teams during forecast process. Facilitate conversations and bridge gaps between Sales Divisions and Demand Planning.
  • Maintain and publish Balance Sheet, Compliance and Overspend report, and Customer and Channel reporting in company's global tool.
About You
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field is required.
  • MBA or other advanced degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
  • You have a minimum 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis required.
  • You have experience working within a CPG environment is strongly preferred.
  • You have some working knowledge of trade systems, SAP and/or Essbase, SAP is preferred.
  • You have strong financial knowledge and general accounting knowledge.
  • You have MS Excel proficiency and strong MS PowerPoint skills.
  • You have the ability to think independently and influence decision making process.
  • You have the ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies.
  • You have the ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company and external stakeholders.

We offer a competitive base compensation range of $75k-92k commensurate with experience, a performance-based bonus, and a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.
