Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Houseperson to join our team at TownePlace Suites Gainesville GA. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our guests, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, windows, and mirrors in designated areas of the hotel.
  • Greet guests and respond to special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions appropriately and refer them to management as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including guestrooms, hallways, lobby, stairwells, and offices.
  • Properly use and maintain assigned equipment and supplies to departmental specifications.
  • Observe and maintain common areas, including floor closets, stairwells, halls, lobby areas, and elevators.
  • Properly handle lost and found items in accordance with department policies and security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Work experience as a Room Attendant or Houseman/Houseperson is required.
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products is a plus.
  • Good physical health and stamina are essential for this role.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality is essential.
