Job Summary:

NGMC Gainesville is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using nuclear medicine techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of nuclear medicine images.
  • Provide patient education and support to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET.
  • Registered in NMTCB, or CMNT, or ARRT Nuc Med.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
