About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our team in New York. As a key member of our transactional risk team, you will play a crucial role in assessing submissions and drafting key terms and pricing for our indications.

Responsibilities
  • Review daily Merger & Acquisition Submissions and work with underwriters to assess submissions and draft key terms and pricing for our indications.
  • Conduct financial statement and business analysis, identifying key issues and trends.
  • Review transaction documents, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate and attend underwriting calls with underwriters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Enter all monetary transactions into our local bordereau, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Reconcile monthly corporate reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Update all spreadsheets daily, including the Local Bordereau, Renewal Log, and Master Log.
  • Send weekly underwriting status reports to business leaders, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of new and existing relationships, fostering strong partnerships and collaborations.
  • Promote the growth and strong reputation of AmTrust Financial, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • PC literate with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent internal and external communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Must be a team player who enjoys a fast-paced business and entrepreneurial environment.
  • College degree required, with a focus on finance, math, or economics a plus.
