Associate Banking Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Banking Mergers and Acquisitions professional to join our team at Barclays Capital Inc. in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial analyses, build complex financial models, and create information memorandums to support Mergers and Acquisitions due diligence and transaction execution.
- Draft assessments and deliver pitches to support business decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful M&A transactions.
- Analyze complex financial statements, build financial models, and perform financial analysis to assess potential M&A opportunities and risks.
- Oversee and guide the activities of financial analysts, and supervise Mergers and Acquisitions from initial contact to finalization of the transaction.
- Position requires domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time, and may involve telecommuting.
Requirements
- Assistant Vice President expectations include advising and influencing decision making, contributing to policy development, and taking responsibility for operational effectiveness.
- Leadership responsibilities include demonstrating a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard.
- Individual contributors will lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, and identify new directions for assignments and/or projects.
