We are seeking a highly skilled RN Sepsis Stroke Coordinator to join our team at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the quality of care we provide.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, review, and analyze stroke outcome data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care, including clinical practice guidelines and quality metrics.
- Work closely with providers, coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Coordinate the Disease Specific Certification related to Stroke, maintaining program standards and elements of performance, and managing data related to reporting and recommendations for improvement.
- Current Florida RN license
- RN, BSN Preferred
- 3-5 years clinical experience, with a focus on critical care, emergency medicine, or neurology
- Familiarity with The Joint Commission, Medicare, and State requirements
- Extensive computer knowledge and experience with EMR, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HPF applications
