Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Acute Care

Deliver Exceptional Patient Care
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, recommending and implementing courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree.
