Your Role:

As a dedicated Applications Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in the design and verification of sophisticated silicon chips. Your profound experience in ASIC design, utilizing established hardware description languages such as Verilog and VHDL, distinguishes you in this role. You possess a comprehensive understanding of design methodologies, including RTL implementation, logic optimization, and advanced power optimization techniques. Your technical proficiency is complemented by exceptional communication skills, allowing you to convey intricate design methodologies and engage effectively with clients. You thrive in fast-paced environments, adeptly managing multiple customer engagements while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating the adoption of Synopsys products to enhance customer performance in terms of cost, quality, and development timelines.
  • Providing specialized knowledge in synthesis (both logical and physical), formal verification, and RTL coding in VHDL and Verilog.
  • Articulating design methodologies that incorporate Synopsys tools, demonstrating proficiency across the complete Synopsys tool suite.
  • Overseeing multiple customer projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks in collaboration with Account Managers and management teams.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive analyses to support sales initiatives.
  • Delivering training, resolving technical issues, and managing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engaging in account planning and developing tailored Synopsys solutions by thoroughly understanding customer needs.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in ASIC design with proficiency in Verilog/VHDL.
  • In-depth knowledge of design methodologies, particularly RTL implementation and logic optimization.
  • Proficiency in Synopsys front-end tools, including Fusion Compiler, Design Compiler, and Formality.
  • Strong understanding of static timing analysis and power optimization strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
