Our Vision

Walmart InHome is an innovative membership service that delivers groceries and essential items directly to customers' homes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our mobile application for both customers and delivery personnel. You will spearhead the development of user-friendly features that simplify the ordering and delivery process, ensuring a smooth interface for managing deliveries, scheduling, and real-time communication. This position offers a unique opportunity to transform the shopping and delivery experience, making it more efficient and user-friendly.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 6 years of experience in Native App development, with proficiency in RxSwift and Swift languages, as well as UIKit and Foundation frameworks.
  • More than 3 years of experience with Cloud Components and Architecture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to design high-level systems.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining APIs and services for highly scalable platforms.
  • Familiarity with Kafka or similar high-volume, low-latency messaging systems.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Stack or other cloud technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and microservice architecture, along with familiarity in CI/CD and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives addressing scalability and monetization challenges.
  • Utilize your expertise in designing and constructing large-scale distributed systems to tackle data processing challenges.
  • Guide small teams of engineers, including offshore associates, on assigned engineering projects by providing relevant documentation and timelines.
  • Support business operations by addressing user inquiries and concerns, researching solutions, and determining implementation strategies.
  • Manage complex projects by translating requirements into technical solutions, conducting unit testing, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve business and production issues through root cause analysis and solution development.
  • Engage in the discovery phase of projects to develop high-level designs in collaboration with product management and user experience teams.
  • Apply your expertise to enhance action plans and ensure alignment with customer and business needs.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to identify business needs and implement effective solutions.
  • Adhere to company policies and promote a culture of ethics and integrity in all business practices.
