Job Summary

The Director of Community Partnerships will lead the Brockton's Promise Alliance for Youth, fostering inter-agency and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen community policies, systems, and networks of support for youth. This role will provide overall leadership and operational oversight for Brockton's Promise, including recruiting and supporting Chair and Vice Chair agencies from across the Brockton community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and support Chair and Vice Chair agencies to lead each of the 5 Promise Teams by the end of 2024.
  • Lead the Steering Committee to achieve the goals and objectives during the grant Planning Year (Year 1: October 2024-September 2025).
  • Recruit partner agencies and youth/parent representatives to comprise the membership of each of the Promise Teams.
  • Convene monthly Steering Committee meetings (quarterly after Planning Year) to execute the Year 1 Work Plan.
  • Review findings of a Student SEL Needs Assessment conducted by Brockton Public Schools.
  • Launch bi-monthly Promise Team Meetings with intentional agendas, accessible technology, and clear objectives.
  • Host seasonal community listening sessions open to the public.
  • Identify specific social determinants of health that Brockton's Promise will work to improve.
  • Lead and support the Steering Committee by scheduling and facilitating quarterly strategy meetings.
  • Oversee vision and strategy for partnerships and engagement with relevant youth-serving organizations.
  • Ensure consistent communication and transparency with partners and stakeholders.
  • Connect BGCMS and other Brockton's Promise partner agencies to meaningful opportunities to support community needs.
  • Ensure Brockton's Promise's presence in appropriate community groups and events.
  • Develop and deploy a comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Provide logistical support to Promise Teams for executing high-impact initiatives.
  • Evaluate and report on outcomes and key performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent educational and skill-building experiences.
  • At least 3 years of related non-profit, community organizing, project management, and/or partnership development experience.
  • Understanding of and deep appreciation for the mission, vision, and values of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South and the Brockton's Promise Alliance for Youth.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups and a track record of building and sustaining meaningful relationships.
  • Commitment to professionalism, high expectations, and standards of quality.
  • Superior organizational skills and project management experience.
  • Demonstrated resource management, budgeting, and reporting skills.
  • Technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM databases.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Flexibility to attend morning and/or early evening meetings and community engagement events.
  • Familiarity with the Brockton community is highly desired.
